JOSEPH: THE DREAMER

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY: April 24 | 6 pm | Doors open at 5 pm

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy proudly presents Joseph: The Dreamer — a powerful theatrical experience that brings one of Scripture’s most unforgettable stories to life. Follow Joseph, a young dreamer marked by God’s favor, whose prophetic visions ignite jealousy among his brothers. Betrayed by his own family and sold into slavery, Joseph’s life spirals from promise to prison. Yet even in darkness, God is at work. Through heartbreak, injustice, and waiting, Joseph rises from captive to counselor, from forgotten to favored — ultimately becoming the very instrument God uses to save his family and a nation.

A brand-new story for the stage, Joseph: The Dreamer is a powerful addition to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy’s tradition of Christ-centered productions. This original work combines dynamic storytelling, emotionally rich music, compelling characters, and impactful choreography to bring Scripture to life in a way that is both memorable and meaningful. Each scene is crafted to draw audiences deeper into God’s redemptive plan, offering moments of laughter, tears, and reflection that point to the hope we have in Christ. Every scene points to a greater truth: what others meant for evil, God used for good.

Mark your calendars for APRIL 24TH and experience Joseph: The Dreamer—a story centuries in the making, brought to life in this original, God-inspired production by Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy. The show begins at 6 pm and doors open at 5 pm.

There will be a brief 15-Minute intermission between Act 1 & 2. Concessions and merchandise will also be available for purchase.
