SMLCA Night at the Park 4/28

Dear SMLCA Families,

It is my pleasure to invite our SMLCA family to a “Night with the Salem Red Sox”!   The elementary choir (all students from Kindergarten through 5th grade) has been asked to come to the game and sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch.  They said that one of the final slots remaining this year is Saturday evening, April 28th at the 6:05 P.M. game.  What a fantastic way to get word out about our school in the community!

I know that this game is only a couple of weeks away, but thought it was too incredible of an opportunity to pass up!  We would love to have a huge turnout of students, families, and friends of SMLCA show up!   In order to reserve a ticket and sit in the “SMLCA section”, all tickets must be ordered by Wednesday, April 25th.  To order tickets, please return the attached ticket form and check or cash to your child’s classroom teacher, myself, Miss Paula or Miss Annette in either one of the school offices (upper or lower school). Extra ticket forms will be available in the school office as well.  Please make all checks payable to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy.  Reserved tickets are $8 per person.  I will collect all checks and ticket orders, and you will be able to get your tickets at “will call” at the Red Sox ticket office that night when you show up to the stadium.  They will be ready and waiting for you!

If your child is part of the elementary choir, please have your student looking fabulous in their blue SMLCA polo and khakis…we want to look sharp when we sing! J  It’s encouraged for everyone to show up in SMLCA spirit wear if you have some.  Let’s have a great turnout supporting our kids, our school, and enjoying a great night of baseball!  For any more questions, please reach out to me at jcravens@smlca.org or via my personal cell: 513-262-5032.
